Custom Business Signage That Reflects Your Brand

A business sign should do more than tell people your name.

It should look like your business.

At ReDesigned, some of our favorite projects start with little more than a logo, a sketch, a photograph, or a customer saying, “Here’s what we’re trying to do. Can you make it out of steel?”

Usually, the answer is yes.

From storefront signs and corporate monument signage to ranch entrances, restaurants, automotive businesses and one-of-a-kind branded pieces, we design and build custom steel signage that is made for the business it represents — not pulled from a catalog.

Your Sign Should Look Like Your Business

There’s nothing wrong with a rectangular sign with a logo printed on it.

But that isn’t what we do.

Our custom business signs are designed around the identity of the company itself. Sometimes that means recreating an existing logo in steel. Other times, we take the basic elements of a company’s branding and develop something specifically for the building, entrance, gate or space where the finished sign will live.

That can mean incorporating a vehicle silhouette for an automotive business, creating dimensional layers for a corporate monument, building a ranch sign around an existing brand, or finding a way to turn artwork that was never intended for steel into something we can actually cut and fabricate.

Every project is different.

That’s kind of the point.

From an Idea to Steel

One of the biggest misconceptions about custom metal signage is that a customer needs to show up with finished, production-ready artwork.

You don’t.

Some customers have professional vector artwork and very specific requirements. Others have an old logo, a business card, a photograph, a rough drawing or an idea they’ve been carrying around in their head.

We can work from there.

The design process is about figuring out how to preserve what makes that business recognizable while turning it into something that works structurally in steel.

Letters have to remain connected. Small details have to survive the cutting process. Large signs need enough strength to hold their shape. Layered pieces have to fit together correctly. Mounting, lighting, wind exposure and the final installation location can all affect the design.

That combination of design and fabrication is where a custom sign really starts becoming something different.

Real Projects. Real Businesses.

We’ve had the opportunity to build signs for businesses and properties ranging from right here in Texas to customers well beyond our home state.

And there really isn't one particular type of business sign that defines what we do.

Ratliff Classics called for a completely different look than Martinez Auto Sales.

The Hesperus Group project in Fort Worth required a substantial corporate monument design with dimensional elements and multiple layers.

Our Ovintiv project took a recognizable corporate identity and translated it into a large-format steel sign intended for a professional interior environment.

Then there are projects like Triple W Ranch and Outlaw Ranch, where the sign isn't hanging over a storefront at all. The entrance itself becomes part of the identity of the property.

Different customers. Different environments. Different problems to solve.

Same basic approach: build the sign around the customer instead of making the customer fit the sign.

From corporate signage to ranch entrances, every project begins with the space, the brand and what the customer wants the finished piece to accomplish.

Built From Steel. Built to Last.

Most of our custom signs begin as flat sheets of steel and are cut on our CNC plasma table here in Texas.

Depending on the project, a finished sign may be a single piece of plasma-cut steel, a layered design with contrasting colors, a dimensional installation, a backlit sign or part of a much larger entrance or monument.

Material thickness is selected according to the size and demands of the project. A smaller interior business sign doesn't necessarily need the same steel as a large outdoor piece exposed to Texas wind and weather.

That's another reason we don't believe much in one-size-fits-all signage.

The material, construction and finish should make sense for where the sign is actually going.

Business Signs Don't Have to Look Corporate

“Commercial signage” sounds pretty formal.

Some of our customers aren't.

A barbecue joint shouldn't necessarily look like an accounting firm. A classic-car business shouldn't look like a medical office. A ranch entrance shouldn't look like a sign pulled out of an industrial park.

And a small family-owned business shouldn't have to lose everything that gives it personality just to get a professionally made sign.

We can build clean and contemporary.

We can build rustic.

We can build industrial, Western, traditional or something that doesn't fit neatly into any category.

The goal isn't to make every ReDesigned Texas sign recognizable as one of ours.

The goal is to make it recognizable as yours.

Custom signage can carry the same identity into completely different spaces — from a ranch entrance to a private garage.

Custom Business Signs Made in Texas

We're a small Texas business ourselves.

We understand that when another business owner spends money on a custom sign, it isn't just another line item. That sign may be hanging on their building, standing at their entrance or representing their company for years.

We take that seriously.

We also think the process should still be enjoyable.

You don't need to know plasma cutting. You don't need to understand steel gauges. And you definitely don't need to show up speaking fluent sign-company terminology.

Show us what you've got.

Tell us what you're trying to accomplish.

We'll figure out how to build it.

From custom metal business signs in San Antonio and across Texas to ranch signage, corporate installations and projects shipped or delivered beyond the state, ReDesigned Texas creates steel signage designed around the people and businesses that order it.

Not mass-produced.

Not pulled from a catalog.

Made in Texas. Made by us.

Have a Sign Project in Mind?

If you have a logo, sketch, photograph or even just an idea, send it our way.

We'll take a look at the project, talk about size, design, finish and installation, and help determine the best way to turn your idea into steel.
